Sydney based Andrew Stevens has been an Internet technology specialist since 1993 and has an extensive background in traditional software engineering, IT strategy and enterprise project management. He is an IEEE member, has participated in the development of international W3C specifications, is a multi-award winning software developer and regularly sets free his inner ‘geek’ as an accomplished and entertaining trainer.
From managing software projects across international borders or helping start-ups grow, he has a strong focus on Web based technologies and has built many successful online businesses. He has an extensive breadth of knowledge and experience to enable the insightful presentation of established and emerging technologies to both business and technical audiences. His work has benefited organisations such as Fairfax, Lonely Planet, Australian Federal Government, Victorian Government, Mazda, SingTel, Tattersalls, National Australia Bank, Telstra and many others.
He has studied Engineering (Computer System), Information Technology (Business Software Development), Photography and is currently completing a double degree in Journalism and Law. He is a Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, loves camping and kayaking and likes to follow the Socceroos.
