Yes I have been looking forward to getting my hands on a Kindle, or perhaps even a Cool-er but Amazon got one here first.
I have had it out of the box for a few minutes and some things of note:
- An amazing screen and so easy to read from.
- Images aren’t too bad either.
- The screen annoyingly flashes and all content goes negative with screen transitions.
- The toggle button feels a bit flimsy.
- Book delivery is not as fast as they claim (I have already bought a photography book with a $20 credit the kind folks at Amazon gave me), and yes I have full coverage. It took about 10 minutes to start downloading, but when it did it came down really FAST.
- Nice to hold, and the leather case I bought with it seems great so far.
- The device is not as intuitive as I expected it to be.
Over all I am happy with it, and I am looking forward to using it more.
